Best Inline Trails in Prague

Prague is a city of contrasts for skaters — you’ll find rough city streets, but also great parks and riverside routes that are easy to reach and fun to ride.

Here are the local favourite spots where we actually skate ourselves.

Letná Park – the local classic

Letná is one of the most popular skating spots in Prague, but it’s also a place where many different skating styles meet. The riverside routes nearby are often even busier, especially on sunny days, as they connect several of the city’s main skating areas.

The main oval at Letná is about 1.3 km long, flat and ideal for beginners or warm-ups. You’ll often find a local quad skating community here in the evenings, sometimes dancing or practicing in groups, especially during warm summer nights.

Just a short ride away is the famous “Stalin” spot under the Metronome, a popular gathering place for skateboarders and aggressive inline skaters. You’ll find granite-paved surfaces across the main plaza, with boxes and rails near the staircase area, making it one of Prague’s key aggressive skating spots.

Local tip: If you take a small detour on the right side of the park, you’ll get one of the best views over the Vltava River and Prague city centre.

From Letná, it’s easy to continue towards our shop in Kamenická or connect to other parts of Prague 7.

Stromovka – relaxed skating in nature

Stromovka is a large park with wide paths and plenty of shade. The main loop is around 1.8 km, with additional routes deeper in the park.

It’s perfect for relaxed skating, families or hot summer days.

Be aware that some sections near bridges have rougher surfaces.

Krejcárek & Vítkov – fast city ride

A great urban route connecting Žižkov with the city centre. The path is about 3 km and includes a gentle downhill section towards the centre.

This route is ideal if you like faster skating with city views and minimal stops.

Good to know: It’s important to control your speed here, especially on downhill sections.

Vltava River Route (A2) – the long ride

This is the most famous skating route in Prague. It follows the river from the city centre all the way south towards Vrané nad Vltavou.

The surface is mostly good, with some rougher parts and busy sections near the city.

You can skate long distances, stop in parks, or combine it with public transport for a flexible day ride.

Skatepark Výstaviště & surrounding area

Near Stromovka and Výstaviště you’ll find a skatepark and several flat paths suitable for freestyle skating and technical training.

It’s a good mix of park riding and relaxed cruising.

Getting around between spots

One of the biggest advantages in Prague is how easy it is to move between skating locations. Metro and trams connect almost everything within 10–20 minutes.

This makes it easy to combine multiple spots in a single day.

Local tip: Start your day in Letná, continue to Stromovka, and finish with a sunset ride along the river.
