Best Skateparks in Prague for Aggressive Inline Skating

Prague offers a mix of modern concrete skateparks and street-style spots that are especially suitable for aggressive inline skating. While many locations are shared with skateboarders, scooters and BMX riders, certain parks stand out for their design, flow, and usability for inline progression.

Lužiny Skatepark – designed for aggressive inline skating

Lužiny Skatepark is one of the most important modern skateparks in Prague for aggressive inline skating. Completed at the end of 2023, it covers around 1500 m² of concrete terrain and is built with a strong focus on rideable flow and technical street-style skating.

What makes Lužiny unique is its obstacle scale. The park features larger-than-average elements that are especially appreciated by aggressive inline skaters looking for speed, control and real street-like transitions.

The park was designed by Martin Krutina, an aggressive inline skater with more than 20 years of experience and the owner of Inlinespecial. His background in aggressive skating directly influenced the layout, focusing on realistic lines and usable flow between obstacles.

Next to the main section, there is also a smaller skate plaza designed for beginners, where skaters can safely practice basic tricks and progression skills.

The inline skating section and overall concept reflect real aggressive skating experience rather than standard skatepark design.

You can reach Lužiny easily via Metro Line B – Lužiny station.

Skatepark Na Babě – technical bowl & creative street lines

Skatepark Na Babě ("Baba") in Prague 6 is located in a quiet residential area with views over the city. Built in 2018 by Mystic Constructions, it combines a technical street section with a unique bowl.

The bowl is one of the most interesting in Prague, featuring deeper transitions and smooth flow between levels. It is particularly suitable for controlled riding and progression in aggressive inline skating.

The street section is more technical and playful, focused on smaller obstacles rather than large gaps or long rails, which makes it ideal for creative line building.

The easiest way to reach the park is by bus to the “U Matěje” stop, followed by a short walk.

Unlike many urban skateparks, Na Babě is more about flow, control and technical skating than heavy street impact.

Stalin (Metronome) – Prague’s street skating hub

Just a short ride from Letná Park, Stalin under the Metronome is one of the main street skating locations in Prague.

Aggressive inline skaters typically use the lower plaza near the staircase area, where granite paving creates a fast and smooth surface. This section also includes boxes and rails that are frequently used for street-style tricks.

The upper plaza is more commonly used by skateboarders, making the area a shared but naturally divided urban skating space.

The “Stalin” spot is easiest to reach by metro Line A to Hradčanská, or by tram to “Sparta” or “Chotkovy sady”, which are both flat approaches. From “Čechův most”, expect a longer staircase climb up to the Metronome.

Výstaviště & surrounding skate areas

The area around Výstaviště and Stromovka offers additional skating spots suitable for warm-ups, beginner practice and relaxed riding between main sessions.

It works well as part of a longer skating route combining parks and street locations in Prague 7.

Výstaviště is best accessed via the tram stop “Výstaviště”. Alternatively, you can ride or walk downhill through Stromovka Park from “Letenské náměstí” or “Kamenická”, both easily reachable from the Stalin spot.

Getting around Prague skate spots

Most skateparks in Prague are easily accessible by metro or tram, making it possible to combine multiple spots in one day.

Depending on your level and energy, an aggressive inline skating day in Prague can be focused on a single main spot or combined with nearby locations. Many skaters prefer to spend more time at one location rather than moving between multiple parks, especially when working on technical tricks or longer sessions.
